Paris, Paris, Paris! The wealthy, spoiled, Hilton Hotel heiress! The ever-lucky bastard driving whatever ride she fancies. This Mercedes Benz SLR McLaren was worth $400,000 at the time she bought it back in 2006.

She traded her Bentley Continental GT, another pricey thing that any ordinary individual like me couldn’t have the capacity to own in thousand years, for this McLaren. But on the other hand, even if I got money that big, I wouldn’t dare lose it with a single luxury sports car like this. Heck! With that money, I could’ve fed hundreds of thousands of children and old women in our place who are homeless and are hungry all the time. But, anyhow, this is not about ideals and principles, so I’m directing back the issue to the car itself.

This car is being compared to equally popular sports cars, the Enzo Ferrari and Porsche Carrera GT. It was developed in the joint venture of Mclaren Automotive and Mercedes Benz; thus, the name Mclaren. McLaren Automotive is owned by Daimler AG, who also owns the Mercedes-Benz. According to Wikipedia, The Mercedes Benz SLR McLaren is the fastest automatic transmission car.

The SLR stands for sport, light, and racing. It was released at an initial base price that drops to a hefty initial amount of $495,000. Not as expensive as the Bugatti Veyron Tom Cruise has owned, but still exaggeratingly and exorbitantly pricey.
